Trenchless Technologies

Low Impact Trenchless Solutions Save Time, Money & Disruption

Our trenchless technology and equipment allow us to clear clogged pipes and repair underground drainage systems with little to no excavating. Improve poorly draining culverts, leaking or unstable underground pipes, and other drainage problems faster and easier with our trenchless solutions.

Fast & Convenient, Minimal Disturbance, Economical, Reduce or Eliminate the Need for Excavation, Corrosion Resistant, High Flow Rate

Trenchless Pipe Patch Repair

Sectional and point repairs will prevent larger and far more costly problems from developing in sewer and industrial pipes. Typical pipe patch repair issues we handle include longitudinal cracks, transverse cracks, radial cracks, broken fragments, root penetration, joint offsets, and separated joints.

With little to no trench, culvert pipes can be restored to new or better condition. Our team utilizes a special type of lining method called sliplining to provide a very low impact method of culvert rehabilitation. With this method, we install a new high-density polyethylene (also known as HDPE) pipe within the existing culvert. We grout the annular space with a cementitious or polyurethane material to prevent future leaks.

Sectional CIPP

CIPP (cured-in-place-pipe) is an excellent pipe patch repair option that is also widely used for larger scale repairs. The result is a durable, long lasting sectional or point repair utilizing a short pipe liner.

Since every pipe patch repair is unique, we begin by capturing images and/or taking video to give you an estimate on the most appropriate option. If our CIPP point repair services won't be a good fit, we'll tell you and work to find a better solution to meet your needs.

Hydrojet CLEANING

LonghillEx provides drain pipe cleaning services to keep your system free of clogs and debris so it will function at full capacity. We highly recommend preventive maintenance for drainage systems: Periodic checks identify small problems before they become large problems requiring more work and capital. Regular drain cleaning and inspection service can help avoid flooding and other major problems.

Flooding and drainage issues at Cantamar Condos

This Neighborhood was having flooding issues due to silt, cement, and grout being washed into their storm system from a recent project they had done on their community pool. Rather than having to replace the pipe which is located in a difficult to access area they called Longhill to use a specialized cutting and breaking nozzle on our High pressure Jetter Truck to clear the construction material from their existing pipe and avoid digging up the community pool deck as well as disturb the common space by excavating.

Layers of cement dumped into the storm drain system.

Making sure the construction debris was completely removed before our final flushing of sediment.

Flooding in Kingsmill

Heavy rain events caused the fall leaves to wash into and clog this neighborhood's storm sewer and cause a major flooding issue on a main Kingsmill road. With our combination Jet-Vac truck we were able to clear the back up and drain all of the water to get traffic back moving.

Hydro-Excavating

Unmarked utilities are one of the greatest threats to any job site. Striking a utility can have catastrophic consequences. Insuring your utility locates are accurate before beginning any underground construction project can keep people safe, lower your costs, protect the environment, and help ensure your project is completed on time.

When mechanical ditching and trenching is not an option, hydro excavation is your solution. As a pioneer in the use of hydro excavation, LonghillEx provides precise ditching and trenching in sensitive areas and in close proximity to structures, trees or other obstacles. Our techniques allow safe and easy access to be able to cut your trench or dig your ditch while leaving the surrounding areas intact and undistributed.

Our hydro excavation techniques are implemented with precision and efficiency. Whether it’s a three-inch wide trench for cable installation or a Much Larger trench for piping, LonghillEx has the talent and hydro vac equipment for any size job.

Structure and Catch basin cleaning

Catch basins are a very important part of a storm sewer system and must be cleaned to ensure the overall drainage system is functioning properly. Catch basins capture leaves, stones, dirt, and other types of debris and sediment through grates, sump areas or curb inlets, preventing these materials from flowing into the main drainage system. If catch basins become clogged, water will not drain properly, causing floods and all the associated damage that goes along with flooding.

Low Impact Culvert Rehabilitation

Above is another example of draining issues solved with sliplining. Sliplining is a great repair method due to the corrosion resistant and extremely smooth inside surface which maintains excellent flow characteristics that match or beat most existing flow capacities.
